For years, I had this idea for a manga I wanted to create. Not being an illustrator (at least, artistic vs technical illustrator) I could never realize this story. A year, or so, ago, I started playing around with ChatGPT's image generator to create a three-panel poster I had conceived. It worked great. I begin using ChatGPT's image-producing facilities quite frequently after that.
Finally, it occurred to me that I might be able to use ChatGPT to generate that manga I had been thinking about. Turns out that ChatGPT was not the appropriate tool for that idea (ecchi, bordering on hentai at various points; that is, R-rated). But I started wondering what could be done with ChatGPT. That led to the start of the IAKESI project – an experiment to determine exactly what I could do with ChatGPT.
